Celebrity chef, cookbook author and restaurateur Charlie Palmer has come a long way since making a promise in 1988 to create dishes featuring regional American ingredients at his Aureole restaurant in New York City.
Now, with multiple restaurants, wine shops and boutique hotels across the U.S., Palmer is still keeping that vow from coast to coast.
